Marlon is a legend.. Renk and Ruff Kutt were the labels that introduced the reggae samples to the hardcore scene in late 91 and 92. Not much to say about Renk records, other than it was a giant of a label in the early hardcore jungle and jungle scene. It still is, all that Jungle you listen too started way back when on Renk, Ruffkut, SUAD, and Labello Blanco. Renk IMHO pioneered the sound throughout 92 and 93, listen to anything released on Renk between 92 - 93 and you will know what I mean. There were lots of hardcore records released with Reggae, dub and ragga samples during late 91 and 1992 and Hardcore Jungle Techno had arrived! Renk Records released some rude boy tunes and did it oh so well.

I cannot believe nobody as made ONE comment about this artist, love him or loathe him (i dunno why you'd loathe him as i recall it was general levy who was putting peoples noses out of joint) in my eyes M beat has to be up there with the very best, so wherever you are man i and sure many others out there salute you.

It's kinda funny though during 93-94 you could argue m beat was running it, you'd be pushed to find any one who had as many hits as the guy
