DJ Ultimate Eaze

Real Name:
Eric Yasir Ponder
Profile:
An associate with the Hilltop Hustlers Records clique, DJ Ultimate Eaze became Steady B's designated DJ by 1990 after former DJ Tat Money headed out to New York to team up with Kwamé and A New Beginning. In 1993 Eaze joined forces with Steady B once again with the formation of the C.E.B. group along with Cool C. However DJ Ultimate Eaze was not asked for his turntable trickery but for his lyrics this time. Consequently he dropped the first part of his name going only by "Eaze" and dropped verses throughout the "Countin' Endless Bank" album. However the album flopped along with his contract with Ruffhouse Records / Columbia and Eaze also lost contacts with Steady B and Cool C after both were arrested and found guilty of robbery serving a life sentence and the death penalty respectively.
