For me, Sherard Ingram is one of the most interesting and futuristic electro producers from Detroit. His unique approach to electro music in sense of structure is refreshing, he really got his own style and takes it to a whole other level. While most of his tracks are uptempo, from 140 bpm to almost 160 or higher, the album "The Collapse of Modern Culture" is an exception, as well as a few EPs which are almost downtempo stuff. Nonetheless, I would describe most of his tracks as furious, driven, raw Detroit electro. His music left a big immpression on me, comparable to some Drexciya releases, raw production skills is what I hear, and what I want to hear.
Sherard Ingram mixes under the name DJ Stingray.
The mix he did for Marguerita Recordings is really worth to check out!
No nonsense electro, straight from Detroit's underground!
