Bedrock

In my opinion, the most consistently brilliant production team in progressive house and trance history. You can spot a Bedrock production from a mile away: the rumbling, muscular energy combined with smart, street-wise arrangements and structure. Muir provided the studio expertise and Diggers knew exactly what would rock a dancefloor.

They also had the good sense to retire the alias mid-way through the '00s, signalling an end of of an era and ensuring the Bedrock discography isn't diluted by the increasingly average stuff they've released since. There isn't a single bad Bedrock production, and furthermore there are a fistful of absolute classics to their name. They were particularly outstanding at remixes, providing an array of re-rubs that were hugely varied but almost invariably improved on the original version immeasurably.
