This was where their popularity exploded, and not long after Sasha left the club, the "Renaissance sound" was captured on "Renaissance: The Mix Collection".
This release is known as 'the first ever legal DJ mix ' - as it was the first official properly licensed release of it's kind at the time.
It is also know as 'the best ever mixed album ever made' - however, of course it is not an album (it is compilation of tracks mixed together)!
Following on from their success at Renaissance, the duo released the "Northern Exposure" trilogy of mixes, in 1996, 1997, and finally in 1999.
The following year they released 'Communicate' which won the award of 'Best Compilation 2000' in the Ericsson / Muzic Awards.
Two years later they toured worldwide as part of the "Delta Heavy" music and multimedia show.
In 2007 they performed together after a five year gap at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, U.S.A.
They also played at the New Year's Eve celebrations in California, L.A. that year at another music festival - 'Together as One'.
In the new year, the duo toured again together after a six year gap on the 'Sasha and John Digweed Spring Club Tour 2008'.
