Zejna Murkić

Real Name:
Zejna (born Zejna Murkić on December 28th, 1986) is an Serbian recording artist, dancer, writer and composer . Her talent was spotted at a young age and she participated in many singing competitions. At the age of 16, after being soppran and solist in couple of chours, Zejna started to sing professionally in pubs, clubs and small concert venues.

Born in Loznica, she moved in Belgrade in 2009 to pursue her career in popular Serbian band Luna as lead vocal.Luna s 8th studio album was Zejna’s debut in recording industry and lead singles Panika, Vrištim U Sebi and Klela Bih.
After another album in 2010 Zejna anounced she has left the band becouse of musical disagreement.
Then she started writing and recording demos for her solo debut.
She was featured on a single Ne Daj Se Mala which was recorded to support colecting money for Aleksandra Mitrović who needed expensive kidney transplatation.She will be featured on Dee Monk’s new single Tonight.
Tonight will be Zejna’s first studio recording in English language.Her favorite song is Killin Me Softly
Her favorite singers and also influences are: Beyonce, Whitney, Alicia, Christina Madonna, Lauryn Hil.
