I wish these guys had been around and on top when Tipper Gore lit off trying to sticker and ban rock music in '85. Although Steel Panther is derivative, they are spot-on about 1987 transvestite pop metal, a kind of tribute band for Poison and the West Coast version of Satanicide.

Hey Panther Fans who was at the Panther Show in Hampton Beach Ballroom in NH a few years back and saw my son Tony go up and play 17 Girls in a row? He was awesome and is on you tube. Keep in mind he did not have a pick that night.
