John Berge

John Berge is a norwegian songwriter and singer. He started writing songs when he was 15 years old. He considers himself as a vocalist & songwriter who had to learn to play and record his song ideas because he had so many of them. He has written nearly 300 songs and released one double CD, «Clear and Present Past», in 2007 with 33 of them.

He has two unreleased new studioalbums («Keep Moving Forwards» and «Illusions of Grandeur, Delusions of Love»), which will be released in the upcoming years. «Keep Moving Forwards» has a tentative release date for Medio October 2024, and «Illusions of Grandeur, Delusions of Love» is set for October 2025.

As of 2024 he is working on three (!) new studioalbums, one new side project with artist friend Shahz called AB87, and a yet undisclosed ten track tributealbum to be released in 2025. The next studioalbum from John will be called «Big Things Have Small Beginnings.»

John Berge has released a string of digital singles over the years, of which three also was made as limited CD-single promos («Start To Wish», «Devil May Care» and «More or Less»). There were made around 100 copies of a «Keep Moving Forward»-CD-promo sampler, whereas the CD-single promos were made in a even more limited run.

Fun fact: The singles in themselves among with bonus track «If You Care», actually makes together a studioalbum (ten tracks), but in fact the songs are from both albums, «Keep Moving Forwards» and «Illusions of Grandeur, Delusions of Love».
