Italian trance / hard trance producer team.

Their first productions together have a lot of success in the Roman region and the track "Dreamland" finally leads Nu NRG to Paul van Dyk, who signed the guys to his credible label Vandit Records. "Dreamland" made it into the German ODC Top40 charts and was also featured on Paul van Dyk's Album "The Politics of Dancing".

Andrea and Giuseppe have been very successful with their first German live performance, opening for Paul van Dyk at the 'Love from Above' event and playing a great set on the Vandit Truck at the Loveparade 2002.

In 2003 they started their first live UK performance in Sheffield and followed by gigs in London's Heaven Club in March 2003 and with Mayday, one of Germany's biggest indoor events in April 2003, Energy, Switzerland's biggest indoor event and Arc, New York in August 2003.

The group has hung up its activity in late 2005. Willing to make solo career was the main reason behind this decision.

From 2000-2004, Nu NRG were amongst the favourite acts for all Trance fans.

Their ability to combine beautiful melodies with hard, driving rhythms became legendary, and it got to the point where you would be able to buy anything that had their name on it without even worrying about listening to it first.

Of course, the standout track will always be Dreamland. It will forever be one of the all-time Trance anthems. But really, you can pick any track / remix from them and you'll be happy.

It always surprised me that there were not more Italian Trance producers around the early 2000's (apart from the Media machine).

Nu NRG are undoubted legends of Trance.

I think they were the best trance duo in 2001-2003 . they produced great mixture of two worlds - dreamy uplifting melody and raw hard trance bassline. for me all productions of nu nrg (or new energy) is must-have for all uplifting/hard trance maniacs.

The heroes from Italy. Guiseppe and Andrea are one of the biggest artists today. They always make top quality tunes that gets the crowd going. Ever since they released the 12" Dreamland that also were on Paul van dyks "Politics of Dancing" they have become a big name in the scene. In the last months Guiseppe and Andrea have also started to do solo projects besides Nu Nrg and also those projects have recived many great responds around the world. There are no limits for these to guys. Paul van dyk sure can pick em for his label VANDIT.

Well, very interesting that no-one has found it prudent to mention these two.

A very original sound regarding their arrangement and style; I've been following their material pretty closely since they hit it big with "Dreamland". Their tracks are living proof that melodic trance can still be epic and hard without becoming cheesy or formulaic.

Want hard and techy? try "The Mind" on the Connective EP. Care for something with great vocal accompaniment? Try their remix of Sunblind's "Believe". Or, if you want to see some real production talent as far as chord structure, cadence, and phrase, look no further than "Le Mirage" another brilliant track from the Connective EP.

Really, Nu-NRG's music can be the perfect compliment to any trance set. Whether Hard Dance/Trance in general, Psytrance, melodic, down-tempo, it really doesn't matter.

Their live-act does not lack either, as they perform well blended mix-sets as well as an exquisite Live-PA act. If you've lost faith in trance music, then look no further... these guys are an enduring sound that will not be so easily typecasted or emulated. Let's hope they get the recognition they deserve.
