Luckily for us fans he didn't retire and is still putting out great under the radar music. The latest album - It Can Do - Is another sureshot.

I'll add on to the praise of the previous commenters - it is ridiculous how much music this guy puts out (2 or more albums a year for the past two decades), and off the top of my head I can't remember anything being less than "good". Moka's music is generally laid back, with most tracks being around 2 minutes long. Most of his guests are little-known Canadian or American mc's, but he has done a few collaborations with underground hip-hop legends like J Dilla, MF Doom, and Plug 2. I would highly recommended Moka for anyone looking for an antidote to all of that horrible pop rap crap.

I agree 100% wit the other dude and would add that he is probably the most underrated MC of all time. His catalogue is so deep and for someone with that much output the quality is amazing.

Prolific hip-hop artist, usually self-produced, with an original voice influenced by golden-age hip-hop. I personally like about 95% of what he releases, with a fifth of that being records I play over and over and over. Recommended.
