Steve Kirby released tracks under the nomer I-Sense in the early to mid 1990s. Several of his works have been played on some of the popular streaming radio stations at Somafm, including the most often played "Dallam" (from Sacred Geometry).

The majority of the music created was sleepily paced ambient mingled with various movie or tv show samples; the previously mentioned "Dallam" samples heavily from the X-Files season 2 episode "Excelsis Dei" for example, with constant repetition about taking "mushrooms to speak with the dead" and "angry spirits".

In all, the music definitely reflects its era, and sounds somewhat dated today, but that's hardly ever a "bad" thing! Steve Kirby responds readily to e-mails about his past work, and enjoys corresponding with anyone interested in it and music in general.
