Super nice surprise to find an artist like Jel. After a very long delay at scoping through his discography, I finally do it after encountering his release "The Funk Realm EP" at Rotation Records. What can I say, I'm really surprised he isn't neck deep in reviews of all sort but sooo so happy that all of his records are still purchasable.Similar in some ways with Aril Brikha manages to keep his own touch though adding a tribal finish to his track, thing that I'm usually annoyed but not with him.Don't know what to add more and I'm finding myself almost deleting the text, considering the guy really deserves a far better review than mine.In the end the music will speak for itself,so if you into techno, check him out, you'll thank me later.

Mr. Ford deserves some major cred. I would rank this man's work right there with Jesper Dahlbäck: super high quality, great dedication and most of all always a pleasure to play. Ford's tracks generally boast his trademark synth lines that are mellodic. But Wait ... There's More (2x12") on Tortured Records is a prime example of it. He lays down pounding tribal grooves also, as evidenced by Arriving (12") on Primate Recordings. His label Jericho has a huge cast of quality artists. I never have to guess if any of this man's work will be good or not, it always seems to be right on. I really like his last two co-productions with Oscar Charlie, (goin into the Jackin' Chicago realm).
