| Profile: | Argentine jazz bassist, folk musician (quena) (b. 1931, d. 1989), came to Paris with Lalo Shifrin's ensemble in 1953 and stayed. He created L'Ensemble Achalay in 1958 in Paris, France, and was married to Françoise Galeazzi since 1957. They had a son, jazz drummer and producer Laurent Galeazzi (b. 1969, d. 2016). |
