Tommy Tuomikoski

Tommy Tuomikoski

American-born jazz musician whose parents were Finnish, born 1907; died 1937. He was one of the first musicians who brought jazz to Finland when he moved there in 1926. He lived in Finland for ten years and played in many jazz groups but moved back to the US in 1936 and died the following year. His main instruments were saxophone and clarinet.
