Son Ingleses, un grupo rock alternativo, formado en 1983 en Oldham , Greater Manchester. Alineación de mayor éxito de la banda contó con el líder de Tom Hingley, baterista Craig Gill, el guitarrista Graham Lambert, el bajista Martyn Walsh y tecladista Clint Boon.
Formado por el guitarrista Graham Lambert y cantante Stephen Holt, el último de los cuales partió la banda antes de la banda de la firma con Mute Records, sonido de la banda se caracteriza por el uso de juego de órganos y distorsionadas guitarras. La banda tanto precedido como era una parte de la década de 1980 y principios de 1990 Madchester movimiento.
En 2011, Tom Hingley, que aparece en todos los álbumes de estudio de la banda durante su funcionamiento original, se apartó de la banda. Hingley y Boon dieron versiones contradictorias de su partida, con Hingley declarando que había sido capturado y Boon indicando que él había elegido dejar el grupo. La banda continuó, vuelve a unirse con Stephen Holt, que cantó en el primer material de la banda. El 22 de noviembre de 2016, la banda anunció que Gill había muerto.

Holt never wrote half of these Tom Hingley wrote and co wrote with Clint Graham Martyn Craig
