Fred Mick & The Kingsmen

Savannah, Ohio 1960-2
Fred Mick was a rock-n-roll star in his home base of Savannah, a small community north of Ashland. While still in high school he recorded a 45 at Hilltop, doing the blues standard "Baby What You Want Me to Do" b/w "Daddy-O Goose and the Three Piggies", a beatnick take on the Three Little Pigs story. The band, which were all locals, had the Kingsmen name before the "Louie Louie" crew.
