Quintax

Real Name:

Branislav Klinko

Profile:

Every artist's biography starts by categorizing the genre and putting on a label trying to define his work. Well, these would be useless when talking about Quintax. The Quintax is a one man project of a relative newcomer to the scene, dj and producer Branislav Styller Klinko(1983), better known for his trance productions.

Branislav was born, lives and creates in Slovakia – country in the heart of Europe. His musical evolution was influenced by many artists of various genres ever since his childhood. He found most of his inspiration in dance music, which is clearly reflected in his own compositions. Those usually consist of progressive house, techno and trance elements, which combined together offer a eclectic, multi-genre musical story.

The name Quintax is derived from the musical term „quinta“ and was intended to separate artists trance and progressive house productions. First release under the new name was a remix for genres legends – Michael & Levan and Steven Ritic. Remix of Twighlight (2010) caught the fans' attention and brought first accolades from critics as well. Twighlight was followed by his own track „Perspectus“, which came out on Mistique Music. Track was done in 2008 already, but due to many complicated circumstances it was only released in 2010 along with exceptional remixes from finish producer Timewave and slovakian progressive magician Domased Electronica. Branislav did more remixes for Mistique Music producers, well worth mentioning are Loquai’s „How Long Can I Wait“, Bluesoul’s „Methos of Deep Diving“ or Kay-D’s „Aura“.

Quintax‘s ambitions go way beyond being a remix project of single label, so Branislav is currently locked up in studio working on his own „tech“ productions.
