The album "Fresh" is considered to be one of the great funk drumming performances.
Newmark has performed and recorded with many top musical artists since the 1970s, including John Lennon, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, George Harrison, Rickie Lee Jones, Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, Roxy Music and George Benson.
