Jack Lynch

Profile:

1960s-1980s bluegrass artist, producer, and label owner from Dayton, Ohio.
Operated the Jalyn Records, Jalyn Recording Co., Dayton Records (4), Nashville Country (2), and Nashville Bluegrass Recording Co. labels.

Lynch would sell records around bluegrass festivals from the trunk of his Cadillac. Played most of the bluegrass instruments and recorded as Jack Lynch and the Lee Brothers and as Jack Lynch and the Miami Valley Boys. Was friendly with the Stanley Brothers, booked them into spots around Dayton, and filled in on bass fiddle for them when they were in town and short of musicians. In the 1980s, Jack Lynch relocated to Nashville.
