Ruth Howard

Real Name:
Ruth Howard
Ruth is Afro-American singer . Originally from Houston, TX, his love of Mexican culture led her to work as a backing singer on recordings of texano groups in the area and toured with several groups of that time Texas music scene as La Mafia and Mazz to name a few.

What catches the attention and was what became his marketing tool was the fact of being black. Unfortunately in the end nobody knew what to do with it, nor the public who was still confused about their traits and not their label on it he decided that there was no proposal that would sell records, giving you high. There was even a scandal at the time where Ruth harassed BMG (US - Latin) to be racist because he said that flashed to promote Paty Alvarez. And that "color does not sell." Ruth then in 1999 released their third and unfortunately last album "Start Today" independently.
