One for the bootleg collectors; I dimly remember a CD around 93ish of a 1992 Spooky-era US gig, called "Luscious". Think it may have been a radio broadcast, certainly it wasn't a low quality audience recording - may well be the Chicago Metro show, which has done the rounds over the years. Anyway, does anyone have that/know it is actually out there *somewhere*?

I bought a CD off the internet not knowing entirely what it was.. turns out it is a Lush compilation, but its a TDK CDr with the front and back cover stuck on to the TDK cover.
Front is "reflective" gold.

I came across a Lush album today, and cannot find out any info on it! It is a Floppy Disk, white cardboard mailer/case, with a "lush" sticker on the front(stylized logo), no insert, no contact/label info, just a sticker on the floppy disk giving instruction on how to upload the music file. Any clues? Any help would be good, I don't have a computer,so I cant see what music is on it. Only have a tablet ... :/ driving me crazy!?!?

Although few would probably agree with me, I think that under Robin Guthrie's guidance as producer the members of Lush were able to achieve a superior sound to Guthrie's own pioneering Cocteau Twins. They took the interesting but sometimes tedious "swirliness" of sound from the Cocteau Twins and put it into memorable pop songs. Instead of just copying the "shoegazer" sound of the day like their contemporaries, Lush crafted quality unique heartfelt tunes that have stood up to the test of time. To me Lush is one of the most under-rated bands of the last twenty-five years; the album "Spooky" is as close to perfection as a rock album can get. Although their final album Lovelife was more pop oriented than their previous work, the group never released a bad album. It is indeed a tragedy that Chris Acland's suicide shattered this brillant quartet.
