cLOUDDEAD is a delightful trio of oddballs. First heard of them after listening to their remix of "Closed Shoulders" by Boom Bip, and Boards of Canada's remix of "Dead Dogs Two", and was pleasantly surprised when their discography was added to streaming shortly after. Although their style may take some getting used to, after becoming familiar with their material its clear they had lots of fun writing and recording their strange poetry with Odd Nosdam's unique beats and ambience guiding the way. Even though their discography as cLOUDDEAD is small, all three members have great solo stuff and other projects also worth checking out!

Dadaist hip hoppers. Odd Nosdam is the real draw here, very trippy and unique beats, samples and drones. The lyrics are mostly just nonsense but vocals work for the most part despite at times seeming to border on the pretentious. I heard of these guys via Nosdam's remix of Boards of Canada's 'Dayvan Cowboy' and BoC's subsequent remix of Dead Dogs Two. Both of their albums are worth checking out, especially if you like psychedelics. 'Ten' is probably the better of the two.
