Leonard Grant (2)

Profile:
American public relations executive & celebrity manager who formed "Leonard Grant & Associates". He represented Frank Gorshin, among other TV celebrities.

Grant became the manager of the early Magic Band, after an introduction from Dorothy Heard (a David L. Wolper exec). He assisted in the group-signing for two singles with A&M Records and 'supervised' at some recordings. PR material was released for the band through this company, much in the vein of promoting a West-coast pop group that would compete with the influx of UK bands, such as the Rolling Stones. He ceased to represent the group on their move to Buddah Records.
