Mampi Swift

Real Name:
Philip Anim
Profile:
Starting off his career as a DJ in the early nineties, Swift Landed a Job at the now defunct Lucky Spin record shop. This was very helpful, as full access to the studio next door, with in house engineer Pete Parsons (aka Voyager) was part of the package. This became a valued learning ground for the inspired artist. After a few releases on various well known labels, his hunger grew and he set up his own labels Charge & Blade.

Also had a show on Kool FM..

Mampi Swift, number one dj. Undisputed double drop champion of the world. IMO more hype then any other dj on the scene and bags and bags of energy. His tune production really isn't bad either, really intresting drums scattered through out the track which are difficult to mix yet so rewarding. Basslines that can only be described as bland and boring but it really works and is a pleasure to listen to especially on a big system.

MAMPI SWIFT, SALUTE YOU!!!

there comes a time when you decide that buying decks and mixing, controls a signifigcant part of your thought process. Mampi live produces the most terrorising bass lines, you feel the music deep in your heart. He is the reason why i went out and bought decks. Respect to the big man! for his darkside tendencies!!!!!!!!!
