Just saying "British band from Birmingham formed in 1966 and disbanded in 1972" does not do this talented, eclectic and popular band justice. Listen to how they split working the vocals on "I can hear the grass grow", the strong bass on "Night of fear", to say nought of the psychedelically-tinged content - written mostly by Wood. Sure, they enjoyed little to no success in the USA but who cares? They were one of the best and most advanced songwriters and stage-acts of the late 60s. Hope others agree and that someone might add informationto this page...
