SCSI-9 are always counted on to bring quality tech house. Straight forward and a bit of charm in their songs due to their attention to the melody. Rhythms are always above average and after have a handful of their releases and followed them since 2001 I can almost predict where each song goes. And that's not really a bad thing. Predictable can be good when you like what they have done in the past. You just know what you are going to get. Getting each full length they have had will fill you plenty of dance floor goodies. From darker German style minimalism to deep house you will like something on their disks. I tend to like at least half of the songs on each of their album and a few on each will become classics in that genre. You can trust them to bring the better sounding of the Kompakt / Ware etc quality techno sound.

SCSI 9 is probably the best known and most talented musician from the USSR . I dig his stuff a lot . My favourite trax on Trapez for a very long time were the ones on TRAPEZ 05 , Cologne . Another excellent one is on the Trapez CD' Selection One' together with Yura Moorush - 'Kudato' with russian vocals . Strange ,but very nice . His recent smash "LADY DELAY" on Freizeitglauen is as close to a pop hit as possible.Still waiting for his first album . I wonder when and where this will be released....
