Danish duo Electric Lady Lab was the 2010's Infernal (who never quite found their sound during that decade). Martin Bøge was the producer of pop/urban outfit The Loft (2), and Stine Hjelm was previously the singer of indie-pop band NU who had international ambitions. ELL was known for the cheeky re-workings of old classics, such as Snap's "Rhythm Is A Dancer" on "You & Me" (2010), or Roxette's "Listen To Your Heart" on "Hurts" (2014). They never quite found commercial success with their dance/electro-pop, but gained some international underground recognition. Luckily they managed to release one studio album, "Flash!" in 2011, and then put out some great singles, but a second album sadly never materialized, possibly due to the lack of mainstream recognition.
