Michael Shrieve

American drummer and electronic producer, born on July 6, 1949, in San Francisco. Brother of Kevin Shrieve. As a founding member of the Santana band he played on their first 8 albums, until 1974. He later became an electronic music producer, learning his craft whilst performing with Klaus Schulze. In 2016 he returned to Santana for Santana IV and the live album Santana IV Live At The House Of Blues Las Vegas.
