Evolved out of The Meddy Evils, The Quik were a Southampton based Mod super-group of sorts, John Roberts and Bruce Roberts ex Meddy Evils (not brothers, Bruce was orginally from Guildford and had previously played in an unspecified group there), Peter Hunt and John Rennie ex 'The Big T Sound' (unreleased, but recordings credited "Maximum Sound Studio"), and Alex Chamberlain (keyboards) previously of 'Fleur de Lys, who was later replaced by Graham Page. Allegedly undertook a calamitous tour of Iceland(??), recorded the 3 singles noted here... Bruce formed Globeshow, Peter moved to London, and John joined a 3 piece reformation of the Meddy Evils.
-- all credits for this: John Clare and Terry Hounsome--
