Paul Schollaert

Belgian priest, composer, conductor and music pedagogue (Hasselt, 15 November 1940 – Leuven, 12 September 2024). In 1969, he was in charge of directing the choir of the Lemmensinstituut, Leuven even before he graduated as laureate music pedagogy. Schollaert remained at the institute as a choral director and teacher of choral conducting, music education and liturgy. He was active as a composer of choral works, hymns, and children's songs (often arranged in the Orff Schulwerk style).
