Based in Los Angeles, California, he contributed in the seminal Stevie Wonder's album "Songs In The Key Of Life" and went on to participate in 7th Wonder's and Natalie Cole albums. He signed at RCA in 1980 and he released three albums between 1981 - 1983, collaborating with such producers as Steve Tyrell on his debut and Webster Lewis. His biggest crossover hit was the classic 1982 single "Looking Up To You" that was sampled in [Invalid Artist]'s 1993 smash "Hey Mr. DJ". He has also duetted with Evelyn King and Merry Clayton. He went on contributing as a guest musician in The Winans, Bobby Womack and Peabo Bryson releases. In 2007 he went back in the studio for a new solo album titled "Return", produced by Robbie Robinson (7) but it was never released.
