Great musician. Im fan of Thomas since i was 15 y/o ( in 1988 ). Great mix of pure talent, sweet melancholy and wonderful feelings. It,s a pity than his last albums lost climate of his pioneers works, but it,s life. I always be a fan of his accomplishments from 80,es. Thank You Thomas for wonderful music....

A stunning artist. Although losing tracks in time - but who could ever stand the pressure throughout his career? Thomas Dolby released two classic albums, 'The Golden Age of Wireless' and 'The Flat Earth'. Both ahead of the time and ahead of the 80s. Well, it IS the 80s but somewhat different - at times songs way too structured to approach listeners' modest choice for hits of the era, but altogether two albums which please more to the listening itself than to the dancefloor. Essential listening, highly recommended! Sadly Thomas Dolby saw a slight drop in his fortunes with 'Aliens Ate My Buick' (despite the albums catchiness) while 'Astronauts and Heretics' came out with bizarre image but music far too pretentious - 'Close But No Cigar' suits it right, it's awful. The rest is written in multimedia projects, and occasional - some more, some less representative - retrospectives of his work. Enjoy.
