THESE GUYS ARE LEGENDS, TWO STRAIGHT UP LEGENDS THAT DESERVE RESPECT.

Halo & Hipp-e absolutely killed it from 98 till about 2005 with their unique sound that was a lil bit heavy, lil bit deep, lil bit funky & a lil bit tech too. They sat right in the middle between deep house to tribal house & tech.
Kind of a more house US version of Peace Division you could say. They were really popular with DJs as they made records that were fun to mix and djs just loved to play. Their punchy extended beats style were great for long mixes and their percussion was tight and distinctive..
These 2 were seriously on one then one day boom, it was all over, but their back catalog is their influence and even today remixes like the Silicon Soul one still sound so fresh. 5 stars, 10 out of 10, A1 they are one of the best duos ever in house music, THANK YOU H-FOUNDATION
