Italian classical and contemporary pianist. Raffaella and her sister, violinist Natascia, form the Duo Gazzana. Their recordings are released by ECM Records.
She studied with teachers L. Mancini and E. De Rosa in Italy, with Daniel Spielberg and Frédéric Rapin in Lausanne and with Bruno Canino in Fiesole, Bern and Seveso.
Graduated in Italian Literature at ‘La Sapienza’ University of Rome, she is the author of the critical review of Sir William Walton’s ‘Toccata for violin and pianoforte’ which is listed in the Oxford University Press catalogue.
