Austrian electronic musician, artist and cultural manager.
He was born April 6, 1948 in Linz and died March 17, 1999.

Bognermayr specialized on computer-acoustic music early on and was a co-founder of the electronic festival "Ars Electronica Center" in Linz. After several groundbreaking releases in computer-acoustic music on the Erdenklang label he founded, together with his long-time partner Harald Zuschrader, the Blue Chip Orchestra in 1988.
