Pharao (7)

German power metal band.
In 1984, Jacky Lee Man, Michael Jurischk and Franky Miller founded the Berlin newcomer band Countdown which merged with already established metal band Regenbogen in 1985. And so Pharao was founded in 1986 with Jacky Lee Man on vocals, Michael Jurischk (guitar), Franky Miller (drums) and Christian Dallmann (bass).
Due to financial and legal problems with the record company, the band split in 1991 after a little tour through Germany.

In 1998, Jackie reformed the band, but the project had to be stopped due to severe illness of Jackie for a year and a half and the band split again. In summer 2003, Jacky decided to bring the band back to life by engaging T.R. Yorg (guitar) and Steven Floyd (bass), then later also Lars Thomas on drums. Pharao made their comeback at Wacken Open Air 2006.
