Profile:	Jazz trombonist, born January 10, 1926, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, died July 8, 1965, New York, New York. Played in big bands with leaders such as Elliot Lawrence 1946, Claude Thornhill and Sam Donahue. Recorded with Charles Mingus in 1953 and 1959, and toured with him 1956-1957. Played with Benny Goodman and Woody Herman in 1958, joined Buddy Rich's quintet in 1959. He played with Gerry Mulligan & The Concert Jazz Band in the early 1960s. Married to Morgana King.
