Although the musical journey that Mother Negave took is not necessarily unique, their music was without a doubt, exceptional. Diverse influences are incorporated into their music to produce sounds reminiscent of everything including jazz, punk, funk, pop and alternative rock. They intentionally defy categorical description.

As Mother Negative they released their debut album ‘Noider’ which received appreciation from a wide audience, as well as critical acclaim.

“Noider” received radio airplay in Australia and overseas on radio stations such as Triple J, 2RRR, 3RRR, 3PS and 3 ONE FM and the album was released in Europe through Metal Age Recordings in Germany, distributed by Sony.
As Mother Negative they have appeared on video soundtrack and on numerous CD compilations, including Push, Play, Record for which they were specially selected from almost 200 tapes and CD’s submitted to “The Push”.
CYAN completed their new full length CD, titled “Khepher”, in 2000 in which the group has expanded and evolved to produce a groundbreaking new album and sound that has stood the test of time.
