Michael Edwards (born March 13 1968 in Cheshire) is a British composer, he studied oboe, composition and computer music. He worked as a software engineer and then as a lecturer at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg and at the University of Edinburgh. His compositional interests lie in the development of algorithmic composition structures, he is also active as an improvisor.
