This singer/guitarist is born in Savannah (Tennessee, USA), and was a teenage flute player when she met Gus Nelson (Tav Falco) in Memphis. He dubbed her Lorette Velvette and they played together in Tav Falco's Panther Burns.
She co-founded The Hellcats, and played in Alluring Strange with Misty White.

Now, besides her solo work, she performs with the New York based delta punk band The Kropotkins.

I wonder what the crossed out things mean. She played in the hellcats as recently as 2019 live (as one of her ongoing projects although the solo thing and Kropotkins is the actual, current thing) and will likely play any time the hellcats have a reunion because she helped germinate the idea in the first place. I've also seen other people included in band listings here they had nothing to do with and not "crossed out" in someone else's listing where they mysteriously appear. One of these days I'll try to learn how to correct some mistakes in people listing people who never recorded with someone they are listed with. And others being omitted. I wonder who comes up with the "crossing out" and the adding of people to listings.
