Profile:

American producer and recording engineer, born March 18, 1933, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Moved to Sarasota, Florida, in 1941.

Was a jazz and dance band drummer. Relocated to Los Angeles, 1956, and was an apprentice recording engineer at Radio Recorders. Hired in 1961 to be an engineer at United Recording Studios. Won a Grammy in 1969 for production of the Record of the Year for The Fifth Dimension - Aquarius / Let The Sunshine In (The Flesh Failures). Later became music supervisor for films, and in 1986, vice president and head of the Music Department at Columbia Pictures. Left in 1992 and returned to recording independent music and film scores. Retired in 2000, to the California central coast.

Known to have worked at Wally Heider Recording, United Western Recorders, United Recording Studios and Radio Recorders.
