March 31, 1927 – August 15, 2007

Hassinger was recording sound engineer at RCA Studios, Hollywood. Through 1964-1966 he engineered albums for The Rolling Stones and also signed & managed The Electric Prunes.

In 1969 Hassinger struck out on his own and purchased the old Moonglow Records studio and created The Sound Factory.
