Propagandhi

Canadian punk band founded in Portage la Prairie (near Winnipeg), Manitoba, in 1989. One of the first bands to sign to Fat Wreck Chords. Singer / songwriter / bassist John K. Samson left the group in 1997 to pursue other interests and eventually start another band, The Weakerthans. Founding members Chris Hannah and Jord Samolesky continued to work on Propagandhi as well as starting their own label, G7 Welcoming Committee.
