Spectre General

Spectre General

Due to Kick Axe's name resembling the infamous vulgar phrase (which would be inappropriate for PG-rated film [which ironically, had two serious cases of the profanity being used]), CBS decided to "re-christianize" them (against the band's wishes) as Spectre General for their appearance in "The Transformers: The Movie" Official Soundtrack.

Although the Canadian releases of this OST restored the band's original name, the damage was done, and Kick Axe decided to quit CBS in 1987.
