> This opinion refers to Possessed - Seven Churches & Beyond The Gates <

One of my favourite bands of that time beside Napalm Death and Godflesh. I love the change of moods: a dramatic (piano!) intro leads into an awful midtempo wall of noise. Or, a track very straight speedcore, 44-to-the-floor, is followed by a far away in the back singer whispering on jungle drumming, suddenly killed by 180bpm grindcore. all done with fun (fine songwriting), never boring.
