The band quickly gained great success and scored a Spellemanspris "Newcomer of the year" category in 2012 for their debut album.
In short time, the duo became a five-piece band. But after a bitter conflict in 2017, a trial ensued of who owns the right to the bands name. Marthe Eberson, Øystein Skaar and Kristoffer Lo felt they were forced out of the band following the juridical process.
Today, Håvik and Bersu has gone back to recording as a duo again under the Highasakite name.
