Anyone knows what is the tape sealed in concrete Prurient is holding in the Arte's Tracks show ? (circa 2008)

Perhaps there's reason for no "reviews" of Dominick Fernow's Prurient project before this one. The behemoth project encapsulates an odyssey through some of the most brutal music one could conceive. Fernow has said in interviews that Prurient offers no path out, no catharsis. Personally, I disagree but respect Fernow’s artistic-intent. In between all the monstrosity is some of the most emotionally resonant music I’ve listened to in my life. Prurient encompasses so many things, and there's little need to go over them. There’s much to go thru, and there’s no true map to guide you. The music isn’t for everyone, but for those who are found by it will know it.
