I got felt Mountain for xmas this year
i sat in the dark on christmas day drinking rum to this record
all i can say is its spectacular!!!

To me electronic music isnt exactly amazing at the moment
its always seperated between the clubs and classrooms at the moment

U might of noticed goldfrapp from The one2one mobile advert
The albums works as a whole album not just a bunch of songs stuck together
the skill of playing is immense
and of course ALison goldfrapp's voice is totally unbelivable and unique

there is some great use of the moog synthesizsor here and some fantastic ideas here
its quite individual and perhaps alternative without being too arty farty or unlistenable

the sounds used are big sounds
theres no cheap plastic sounding pads here i tell you

i truely recommend this to anyone who is a fan of down tempo electronic music where the emphasis is on melody and vocal rather than a beat or groove

This is what is good about electronica is the originality of the artists and the open mindedness of it
