Fred Hellerman (born May 13, 1927, Brooklyn, New York, USA – died September 1, 2016, Weston, Connecticut, USA) was an American folk singer, guitarist, producer, and songwriter, who is primarily known as a member of The Weavers. His first record was released 1950 under the name Bob Hill (16) and he sometimes used the name Fred Brooks, mostly for songwriting credits.
