Guitarist, recording engineer, bandleader, publisher, record producer, songwriter & talent scout. Clement appeared in the late 1950's as part of the world famous Sun Record Company operation in Memphis. At that time, he discovered and recorded Jerry Lee Lewis, and produced recording sessions for Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and Carl Perkins. Owner of Jack Clement Recording Studios and JMI Records.
He was to have been officially inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in October 2013.
